Our Affiliate Relationships
Stay Waiheke Island (staywaihekeisland.com) is a participant in affiliate marketing programs with various online casino and pokie operators. When you click on certain links to online casinos featured on our website and complete a registration or deposit, we may earn an affiliate commission at no additional cost to you.
How We Identify Affiliate Links
Affiliate and sponsored links on our site may be identified by:
- Text indicating "affiliate link," "sponsored," "promoted," or similar language
- Visual indicators such as icons or badges
- Contextual disclosure within articles or reviews
If you are unsure whether a link is an affiliate link, please contact us before clicking.
Our Editorial Independence
We want to be absolutely clear: our affiliate commissions do not influence our editorial rankings, reviews, or recommendations. Our reviews are based on independent research, user experience, licensing, security, game selection, and customer service. We maintain editorial integrity regardless of commission structures, and we will not rank or recommend a casino solely because it offers higher affiliate payouts.
Regulatory Compliance (New Zealand)
This disclosure complies with the New Zealand Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) Code of Ethics and Consumer Protection Act 1987. We are committed to transparent advertising practices and honest representation of our affiliate relationships.
Your Responsibility
By using our website, you acknowledge that:
- You understand our affiliate relationships as disclosed herein
- You are responsible for reviewing each casino's terms, conditions, and licensing information independently
- You gamble responsibly and only with operators licensed to operate in your jurisdiction
- You seek independent financial or legal advice if needed
